Hey everyone, thanks for continuing to drop by and leave wonderful comments and critiques...they're all appreciated! I also apologize for not getting back to those of you who have been inquiring about commissions over the last few months... I'm currently working as a storyboard artist on an animated series for the CBC here in Canada and that is taking up the vast majority of my time. I have a few commissions at the moment that I've been struggling to finish up so because of this, I don't think it's fair to anyone to try and take on any more projects and not be able to devote all of my attention to them.
So in a nutshell, what does this mean? Well, no more commissions for a while. This doesn't mean that I won't be creating any more artwork...I'm just going to be doing my own stuff and focusing on my pinup work in my own time.

Greetings from San Diego....is how wish I could start this journal entry, but unfortunately, I'm not there...AGAIN. Lessee, what else?  Oh yeah, I'm back in school studying 3D Animation. This is why you haven't seen a lot of new work from me lately as school takes up about 90% of my free time. I'm also in class until about 7pm every day so I've been horrible for keeping up with my email. So if you've written and I haven't responded, please just shoot me another email because it's probably been buried between the gobs of spam, offers from Tiger Direct and other junk that continuously fills my inbox.
I'm also trying to figure out what to do about my prints, because the place that normally printed my work for me has shut down. I'm going to look into online options, but this will mean that the prints won't be signed.  The benefit to this however, is that you won't have to deal with CanadaPost.  I don't like to publicly call out businesses, but their service has been total shit so far.  On average, it now takes about 25-35 days for people to receive their packages from me.  So like I said already, I think I'm going to go with another service for the prints, which can hopefully offer better service, better quality prints, and faster delivery.

I just wanted to take a moment to address this issue that's been occuring with the mail delivery service lately.  A few of you have written to inform me that your artwork has been taking an extremely long time to arrive and for that, I am truly sorry. While some of you have been lucky enough to receive the artwork several days after it was sent, for some it has been weeks and I honestly don't know what the problem was with the postal service (I live in a city so there's no excuse for it to have to travel by boat or pack animal to the airport).  So far, those of you affected have been incredibly patient (even though you've had every right to be completely pissed) and if the problem continues, I will do what I can to make it up to you with free prints, sketches etc.

Again, I'm very sorry for the problems as of late and I really hope that things will turn around in the upcoming weeks.

Hi guys and gals,
I apologize for things being kind of slow and quiet around here lately.  I've been really busy as of late, and for those of you still waiting on your commissions, I'm finishing them this week so I apologize for any delays. As I've already mentioned to a few of you, I broke my foot a couple of weeks ago, and even though I don't actually draw with my feet, though I may look somewhat simian, it still managed to waylay me for a few days.  On the positive side, these delays were also caused by a couple of high-profile gigs that I landed over the last 2 weeks, so the bonus for you is that the commissions will be worth even more now   The perpetually cool Craig Yoe asked me to contribute to his latest book which will feature prominent 'good girl' artists such as Dean Yeagle and Bruce Timm and their versions of Dan DeCarlo's 'Jetta of the 21st Century'(for those of you unfamiliar with Mr. DeCarlo, he gave the defining look that we all know and love to Archie and the gang of Riverdale High). This was a cool project to be a part of and I can't wait to see the other versions of Jetta. As soon as I get the go-ahead, I'll post my version here.  I've also worked on a couple of covers for Hack/Slash with Tim Seeley which has been a dream job of mine for a while now. I noticed in the CBR forums, that a few of you have been requesting a Hack/Slash cover from me as well, so as soon as I have a few spare moments, I'll finish up the one that I was working on a few months ago.
And finally, thanks to the ever-generous, multi-talented, nicest-guy-on-earth... Dean Yeagle, I'll be doing my 'audition' comics for Playboy later this week so if all goes well with that, you'll be seeing my scantily clad pinups alongside scantily clad pinups.

Well, I've finally gone Web 2.0, and I'm playing catch up with just about everything you might find in the average issue of Wired.  I have a new website up and running (www.dominicmarco.com) and I didn't stop there...no sir! All payments are to be made by Paypal...unfortunately, I've had to change my old policy of no payment upfront because of a few bad apples, so now payment must be made upfront. As you can see from the amount of commission work I do, I've proven that I'm reliable about getting the work done.  Once you place the order, I'll then sketch out a design for your image and send you a low-res jpeg of it for your approval. I'll then move on to the colouring stage and when it's ready, I'll send you a jpeg of the fully coloured image and you can then suggest any changes to the colours. When everything is cool, I'll then send you the hi-res copy.
Of course, sketches are a bit different. I'll send you a jpeg of the image when it's ready and I'll mail out the sketch at the same time.

I've been getting a lot of 'commercial-big-corporate-style' work lately...hence the lack of submissions because I can't show any of it until they premiere officially, but if you like what I do, then keep your eyes peeled for the latest CD's from Mr. P!nk, Dave202, and Lady Tom.  
I also have quite a few upcoming covers for Zenescope that will hopefully hit the internets soon thereby allowing me to post them here.  There is one by Ebas that has already debuted online, but I'm really not that pleased with how it turned out, so I haven't posted it yet. To be honest, I just didn't have enough time to do it justice so if you read this E, sorry and I'd really like to have a crack at doing another one so that I can do it right!  However, the next three covers turned out great so I can't wait to show them off.
